I think this is a very feasable goal but yes it will cost you some money in the drivetrain also. My car currently runs 13.0 and this is the first engine I have built. So IMO go for it. Also fastcoupe88 is right on with his 300hp estimate. This is what my engine pulled on the dyno.

What are you putting together? Just curious. I have a 289 in my 67 that I already have a paxton system waiting to go on. It is a novi 1200 and I believe it should put out about 7.5-8 lbs of boost with the stock pulley. I already have a A/F ratio gauge(norrow band) which is kind of worthless...

Anyone ever put a boost gauge on novi 1200 carb'd motor? If so where do you run your line to, somewhere on the carb enclosure I'm guessing? I tried asking the power adders section but nobody ever replies there.

I used POR15 on my engine compartment and it seem to fade from the sun. I wouldn't suggest using it on anything exposed to sunlight.

Its oil is supplied from the engine pan. What "fluid" do you suggest changing every 1000miles? Are you talking about the engine oil? I hope not because that would get very expensive.

If your going to do both make sure you keep your compression ratio low enough with the stroker kit to still run pump gas after the supercharger addition. Unless your ok with running 5$/gallon race fuel.
