:shrug: It was done on a lathe so it's fine. Even if its not perfect I doubt its going to throw of my cam.

I had the same problem with the 1 piece hitting the timing cover. I took the both eccentrics to the maching shop and had them machine the new one down to match the older one.

I called edelbrock and talked with one of their service techs. He said to use the longer pin that came with the cam and just push it in enough so it is flush with the eccentric. He said the side tension would hold the dowel in place. I'm worried the dowel is going to work its way back through...

Neither of the dowels come all of the way through the timing gear. I'll call edelbrock and see if they have a longer one.
