Need help please, my father has terminal cancer...

Man. I understand what your are going through. I'm in the same boat as geordie, my father unexpectedly die at the age of 50 from a heart attack. That was 13 years ago and the summer before my senior year of high school. It has been tough, but time does heal all wounds. He never got to meet...

What cam to choose (250-300rwhp build)

I'd go with the Trick Flow Stage 1 cam. This is a really good cam for street preformance. I have it in my roller 5.0 with ported GT40 heads and it works great. Really good throttle response and good low end torque for a performance cam. I'd stay away from the Ford alphabet cams (B303...

    The SN65 project car

That was my thoughts exactly. I seen the V8TV episode and if the "powers that be" saw this episode, they would change their minds. I can't believe they said you would "Fall short on the engineering side", please! They just don't understand yet what you have done. Let them know!

    The SN65 project car

Bob, I watched the Friday night showing of V8TV and they really did a good job showing the Mustang. It was pretty awesome that for a 30 minute show they spent 15 minutes on the SN65 project. I can't wait to see the next show when the car is finished. Keep up the good work.

    The SN65 project car

I have dish network and I do get the Mens channel. I think it is channel 218. They have a lot of hunting and fishing shows on there most of the time. I catch the V8 TV show from time to time. They aren't the type to put a chick in front of the car. They usually have a lot of how-to's on...

    old timer intake trick?

Actually, if you look at a picture of the Edelbrock Air-Gap intake, it looks like this. Of course, it looks as if only about 1/2" is removed from the divider, but it is being done on aftermarket intakes.

    The SN65 project car

The dash panel looks really good, but while I was looking at the pictures, something hit me. Are you going to be able to use the heater defrost with that panel installed? It looks like it wll cover up the vent locations. Are you going to cut holes in the panel for these? Just wondering. It...

    disc brakes kit from rcmotorsports?

That kit uses Granada rotors that bolt onto your stock V8 spindle. I'm not sure if the kit will work with a 69, but I'm sure they will know. That is not a bad price. You could also go with a scarebird kit. This kit would be cheaper, but it used non Ford rotors and calipers. He sells his...

    Over heating after head/intake swap???

Are you sure you installed the head gaskets properly? If you installed one of them backwards, it would block a water passage and cause you to over heat.

    EFI swap question

Depending on what model Mustang you are putting this in, you may need to swap out your gas pedal. If so, that would be needed along with the throttle cable.

    TT331FB Update

jmenke - When you switched from the Cobra computer to the GT, did you change anything else like the MAF or injectors? What size MAF and injectors are you running? The reason I ask is because the Cobra computer is calibrated for 24lb injectors and the stock cobra MAF is calibrated for 19lb...

    Quick EFI firing order question?

The easiest thing to do is to is rewire the fuel injector harness so it fires in the injectors in the old firing order. This is not hard to do and a lot of people have done it this way. I think there are only 2 or 3 wires that need to be changed. The only other way is to get a chip or some...

for the future turbo classics...see picture!

He had to mount it so high because it would have melted the stickers he plans to put on the hood. I mean those stickers are worth at least 20 HP. They are instant "go fast".

The Reenmachine DOHC '67 Shelby Clone Convertible Progress

Reenmachine, Looking at the pics you posted of the fuel rails, it looks as if you may have them on backwards. It looks like you can flip the rail (put the current front opening on the rail toward the back of the intake). If you did this, the mounting brackets will be mounted on the inside...

5.0 ho distributor on late model block

That is exaclty what it is suppose to do if you hook it up to a manifold vacuum souce. It makes the engine have a smoother idle by advancing the timing. The more gas you give it, the less vaccuum it will have and therefore less of an advance on the timing. If you hook it up to a ported vacuum...

Will this Power Window kit work?

I've had them in my Mustang for over a year now and they work good. If I had to do it over again, I'd buy the Deluxe motor kit. It has heavy duty motors that are quicker and quiter than the original one. With these heavy windows, the deluxe kit would work great.
