With the H/C/I, your power will move up in the powerband. What rpms are you shifting at? The extra ~1000rpms is where your peak horsepower falls, it will make quite a difference by shifting higher, probably around 6000ish.

It should at least run and rev without a tune, maybe not idle or drive good, but should be able to rev. Did you double-check your spark plug wires to make sure they're not crossed? Is it a stock FPR or adjustable, just making sure it is getting enough fuel? Did you upgrade the fuel pump?

Absolutely they are! There have been quite a few post on similar issues lately, even since the weather cooled off a bit, that I hope this helps someone. I would have liked to read it before changing radiator, 2 t-stats, etc.etc. :D
