    Spring is here (Flex-A-Form)

Are these a viable option for a street-driven car? If so, I maight have a tough choice to make between these and the Racer Walsh lowering springs...

    Ok... Can't... do... stock...

It's not hard to find a II hatch to cut up if you want to. Your four-cylinder Cobra II is very interesting, unique, and rare in stock form. Just a thought.

    What would you do?

$120 seems alright, my local junkyard wants $100 a pair if I pull them. Does the price you were quoted at include everything (springs, rockers, etc.)?

    What would you do?

True, but he may have an easier/cheaper time getting the E7TEs.

    What would you do?

The best factory heads that fit our cars are the E7TEs from Fox cars and F-150s. I started a thread about them and thanks to some of the other members of this board, it's got lots of good info.

    Bumper Brackets

I don't mind modifying other things as well to make it work. One of the things I dislike about '70s American cars is the bumpers. They all seem to stick out too far. I'll probably adress the other modifications when I get closer to re-assembly.

    Bumper Brackets

I was thinking about tucking my bumpers in closer to the body. To accomplish this, I was planning on milling new holes into the bumper brackets. Has anyone done this before? How close to the body have you gotten? Unfortunately, my front fenders and header planel are off at the moment...

    Seat covers

I got tired of looking for new seat covers and just pulled a pair of Escort seats out of the junkyard for $70. The color would be perfect if I had a blue interior.

    E7TE Question

Thanks for the tip! I may be back there soon, and I'll have to look for those. I was very close to spending Uncle Sam's refund check on a pair of junk heads. Seeing that the casting code was for a truck head, I was pretty sure I could score some from a truck, I just wasn't sure which one...
