Acutally, I never let them go out on test drives alone. I have been in the car twice with Ford and twice with tranny specialists...you're right, other than the stang, Ford makes a bunch of junk...and they do love test driving GT's Doesn't really matter, I won't be in this car much longer...

make the dealer feel your pain...keep calling and dropping car off for test drives, take you car to a tranny specialists and pay for a diagnostic. I call the GM at Ford weekly...I'm ready to shoot off a 4 page letter...well see what happens..Your 03 should still be under warranty...

Sounds like you just picked up your 03? All I can say is that my tranny shifted pretty good until the weather hit about 40 degrees. Did you drive your mustang on that 17 degree morning we had two weeks ago in Mass? My tranny shifted like crap!!!! I would have guessed I was running cool-aid...

Does anyone have a BRAND NEW W/ TSB FROM THE FACTORY tranny from ford? I'm curious how this works. I have had the TSB done on my old tranny and it still sucks...sucks less, but still sucks...next step will be new tranny with factory installed TSB if this works better. I've never driving a car...

Hey 02redstang, Did Ford install kit or did they outsource to tranny shop? Did you notice a huge different for the first 2000 miles or so? Did you request to see the old parts? Did you check to see if "they" installed the placard on the side of tranny which states the revised fluid level...
