GT to Cobra front & rear brake install w/ pics *T1 beware :)

I did my fronts last weekend, I used the Mach 1 kit with the black calipers. VERY happy with it. After driving my Bullitt for years w/upgraded brakes I was very disapointed in the stock GT brakes on my daily driver car when I got it. For around $360 for a complete front brake swap it cant be beat

MPG for a 99 mustang GT?

I get 18 mixed on my modded bullitt (3.73's). my vert is stock except for intake and weld in mufflers and it gets 14...go figure. I think cause its slower I am harder on the gas pedal in my vert.

    intake wistle...

it happens, since you dont have the super restrictive intake on anymore, those kind of noise can escape. The only way to stop is go back to stock lol

Pics of my mustang (just bought it)

I didnt think any GT's came with 16" wheels, I'm betting the previous owner had some aftermarket wheels he didnt want to sell with the car, so he swapped on the cheapest thing he could find. I'm not sure what size my tips are, but they are the factory SLP tips and they are HOT. theres just...

how to get 300rwhp out of '02 GT

I'm at 262 rwhp with shorty headers, bassani x w/cats, slp loudmouth, and a drop in K&N, that is with the bullitt intake and tb's though. I'm putting a stock GT crank hp to the wheels so thats fun, but i want more! There isnt too much else i can bolt on, that other 40 hp would be hard to come...

How dose the traction control work..

I forgot to turn my TC off at the track, tried to spin my tires to clean them off and it yanked so much timing the car died... I've had it nearly stall the car in the middle of intersections, etc. That is why unless it is raining, as soon as I get in my car I turn the TC off. I have control...

anyone have an idea about how much boost is lost through heads/cams?

I think 9 psi with really good heads will put out the same power as 12 psi on stock heads. roughly. because the air flows easier the blower isnt as restricted, it can flow the ammount of air easier. same power, lower boost
