As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I would HIGHLY recommend replacing the rear 5 x 7 speakers. I replaced mine with a pair of Inifinity Kappa 682.7CF and the improvement was wonderful. System made a huge leaps in volume (Kappas were 2 ohm, paper cone speakers they replaced were 4 ohm)...

Try setting the speed sensitive volume setting on the head unit to 0. If the volume fades when you come to a stop , its probably this. 0 is off and 7 is the maximum.
