    what was your air/fuel ratio when they were tuning? when they were stepping into it on the dyno did they notice anything else besides the pinging? that's all i can think of

    i purchased my 96 cobra with the t56 installed already. but the 5th is .80 and 6th .62. can these gears be switched to the 5th .7 and 6th .5 like the camaro/viper t 56? i ask this cause pretty soon i'll be driving about 100 miles a day for school and if this is doable i am going to look into it...

    Tweecer on 96 cobra?

    on a heavily modified car the tweecer can be pretty difficult. my last ride a 95 gt w/357 was a pain to learn and it was a continous thing to tune on. but using the tweecer on a relatively stock w/bolt ons vehicle it would be alot easier to use. but there is still a pretty heavy learning curve.

    yes, i just started using it, i am running the rt version. although there aren't as many people using it, most people use sct or diablo.

    i have been looking around at headers and some have a 3" collector like hooker and pacesetter. will 3" exhaust totally kill the torque on these cars? i was thinking about the hookers cause i have a 3" kooks x pipe here at the house from my other car.

    a custom grind cam (flowtech induction, camshaft innovations) will probably be your best bet. if not a custom grind call comp for a cam recommendation. i would definetly go with afr 165's if you are going to spend the money on aluminum heads.

    i got an xcal2 a couple of months ago and the car (96 cobra) had some minimal mods like gears, catback, c&l inlet pipe. well now i want to add some more basic bolt ons, but my question is, will i have to send the xcal back to get more tunes loaded back on? thanks jake

    reading all this gives me hope:) either way i am getting all my parts out of the car. but i would like to get a fair amount from the insurance company. my pops figures a 4000 kelly blue book value. so i am kinda assuming that would be the absolute most i would get for it. dad said he'd give 4000...
