I heard the threads aren`t deep enough on the AFR heads for 1" bolts. Doesn`t sound like a good idea on their part,especially with an aluminum head. I`ve read stories of more than a few guy`s stripping the threads on them.

I replaced all the hoses when I did the core in May and the new heater core inlet hose from Ford already had the restrictor installed in the hose.
