    Did I install the wrong oil pump?

    I have heard the same thing, that the high volume pump requires a bit more clearance because its in a different housing. Thats the only reason I replaced mine with a standard one. But thats just what i've heard, whether or not there's any truth to that is another story.

    Is the whining coming from the transmission itself or the throwout bearing? Unless you forgot to refill the trans with fluid i would suspect the throuout bearing.

    Springs question.....

    The springs should be in the A-Arms and the struts should be attached to the spindle (our cars have struts in the front and shocks in the back). If the car really doesnt have springs in it i'd really like to see a picture of it.

    My polished "Ford Racing" cobra intake says "Made in China" stamped right on the bottom of the lower. :shrug: It looks nice, but as far as quality is concerned i've had nothing but problems with it. (oil throught the pcv) Made in China = :notnice:
