    Question about 17" Wheels

    Mine are 18s and I really dont notice much of a performance degridation since putting them on. I must add that I did the catbacks, CAI, and underdrive pullys at the same time so that is probably compensating a bit for the added weight. I dont drive all that fast but the bigger wider tires...

    get 'em in a polished aluminum finish. it's higher maintenance but has more personality. otherwise, chrome gets my vote. it takes a special look to really take advantage of black rims ...pics would help make a better opinion.

    I say get your car man! You want a mustang? get one. I can not speak for snow driving at the moment because I live in Hawaii ..but I can talk about rain ...it's all good. With stock size or my new 18's ...they both do fine in the rain. Get your car if thats what you want. Sooner

    KITT has some good points. the way my car looks is the result of religious cleanings and waxings since I bought the car new in 1998. I never got lazy and never slcaked off. it's ALWAYS waxed. here are some tips: 1. again, always keep a good quality wax coat on it. not crappy turtle wax either...

    glad i asked because i was under the impression it was the reverse ...3.73 for autos and 4.10 for manuals ...thanks for the info.
