Bfg Kdw2 I would recommend BFG KDW2-NT 255/45-18's all around for that setup. I looked it up and the minimum wheel width for the 285/40-18 is 9.5", with optimal being more like 10" so I'm not sure it would be a good fit for a 9" wheel. You can see pictures of that exact setup here...

From my searches it looks like 9" is the minimum recommended width for a 275 tire. Check out "specs" for tires at tirerack and it will tell you all the details for a particular tire, including section width and recommended wheel sizes. Doug
