If you removed your dogbone... Get in here!!!

I went from 3.08 to 3.73s and removed the dog bone in the process; I now have vibs over 80mph, and they get pretty bad around 100mph (factory driveshaft). I plan on getting the FMS shaft and hopefully the vibs go away.

Which one is the best out of these 3 options?

DO NOT heat the springs. Your car will ride like A$$ (it softens the rate), and if they weren't heated evenly, you could have an uneven drop. I would try removing the isolators, then, if it's not low enough, I would try cutting 1/2 coil at a time until you get what you want. If you cut too...

    High Reving Engine?

A 302 can rev to the moon like the mod motors, it just takes money. On hardcore50 there's guys that shift at 8500+.

HELP, starter does not start. Where to start looking?

Try cleaning the connections at the battery and at the starter. I've had the same problem and it was dirty/loose connections.

Summit now offers TB's for our cars...

Hell yeah, I had a Merkur. That was in my "2.3 turbo" phase. I had ported big valve head, mystery lopey cam, 50 trim t3/t4, big vam, log header, FMIC, and a SS 3" downpipe. It was fun as hell suprising the crap out of cars that 'should' have been faster than me. . . . . I kinda miss the...

    aftermarket body parts

Yeah, that's what I was worried about. I know even an OEM fender wouldn't be bolt on and go, but I'd rather not spend a whole weekend trying to fit a damn fender.

    aftermarket body parts

Has anyone had experience with aftermarket fenders? I've been looking for a driver's fender for a while, without much luck. Most people won't ship. I can get a new 'aftermarket' fender on ebay for like $91 shipped. I'm just worried about fitment once I get it. Any input is appreciated...

    crappy track=horrible track times

With drag radials, I ran 8.49 @ 83 a couple weeks ago. However, it was only my third run EVER, so I'm sure I can do better. My 60' was 1.79. Also, next time I'm disconnecting my sway bar, play with tire pressure a little, run space saver spares up front, and maybe ice the intake. I didn't...

    my exhaust combo rant

I have hooker super comp shorties, o/r/x, and a mac catback. ZERO drone, a lot of people say it's pretty loud, but I don't think so. I'm thinking of going to spintech prostreets. I think the x-pipe takes out a lot of the deeper sound, making me think it's too quiet. The MAC mufflers do have...

Is Big Block power worth it?

If you went with aluminum heads, that would counteract some of the weight. I don't think the weight would be as big of an issue. If you are fabricating engine mounts, you would be able to experiment with engine setback, which would help the distribution. How much does a 460 weigh over a 302...
