    Mini-Tub Dilemma

You are right. I guess it was unfair of me to state that without further info. I do have a 4 link that I have not dialed in due to an recent engine mishap at Polar Raceway. I'm currently in the middle of another engine build as we speak. I wish Summit gave out frequent flier miles. One other...

Rebel Mustang Reviews? 67 Shelby Hood/Kit

I have their cowl hood, tail panel, deck lid, and quarter extensions. The fiberglass is thick and the fit was like any fiberglass part. Meaning, it will take some time fitting the panels. My hood was severely bowed but I fixed that by reverse clamping some spring steel to the hood and a rose...

65 Mustang clutch pedal spring keeps braking from the brake pedal

clutch pedal assy As was said earlier, there are no springs holding the clutch pedal to the brake pedal. Maybe you are calling the spring washer or the retainer clip the spring? If your's is bad, I have two clutch pedal assemblies for sale. If you need one let me know. In the pics the plastic...

    Help Diagnose my Fuel Problem

When you shut the engine off look down the carb. Sounds like you are dumping fuel and flooding it out. That would explain the hard starts and black smoke. Could be sticky float. You said this happened with the old engine? Same carb?

Taking the wife for a ride

Thanks guys. It was very funny...to me;) Yesterday I put a Hurst T handle on and I can shift much better. I had the Hurst ball on since I put her together. It's weird with that toploader. Some days it shifts good and other days it doesn't want to cooperate.

Taking the wife for a ride

LMAO! Yes, the seat reclines all the way back. She is almost over it now. I don't know why she got so pissed, I do it to her all the time. Of course I get the same reaction every time and have to hear about the head ache and sore neck.

    lifter trouble

I've too been reading about this happening quite often. Not to bash on any one manufacturer, but it seems as though Comp Cams' name has come up more times than not. I've also read that it's the break-in that kills them. GM has an additive that can be purchased from the dealer that can be added...

    Rear end trouble

I've never owned a 69 or later mustang but I've read that the perches are wider. I can't explain your pinion angle other than it may look out of wack because the rear end is sagging down onto the leafs. You may have to weld on new spring perches. I've done it before and used a 3 deg angle. You...

    Weiand Supercharger

I used a March pulley kit on mine. I don't have a true serpentine but I use the wider belts. If you do have a serpentine, the blower belt will not ride on your other pulleys, it will be separate as mine is. The Weiand came with another part that is used for serpentines but I didn't have to use...

    edelbrock heads??

There is also valve to piston clearance issues. If you have to and don't mind fly cutting the pistons in place you can choose any of the above heads. The twisted wedge heads can be used without notching the pistons.
