i had one the other morning...i was cruising across base to meet up with a friend at our motorpool to do some work when this 300ZX (read, epitomy of a ricer) decided to "race" me. he would wait until i was behind someone, and then come ROARING past me...finally i get beside him, throw it in...

    WTF?

why is it doubted it came with 3.08's? my '88 has 3.08s...that was a popular option. 2.73's were standard, but if the person who bought it knew what box to check, 3.08's will be in it...BTW, you can get the code for the gears on the door... Josh

where did you guys mount your elec. fan switches?

on my old '87 Firebird Formula, i had the e-fans set up to use a factory-style thermo switch and only had another switch as an override...i think that is the safest way to wire 'em up. for a little bit, i didn't have the thermo switch and i remember a few times on the way to work i almost burnt...

well, i don't have my '86 GT with t-tops anymore, so the current user name really doesn't fit me anymore and i was wondering if one of you guys would be so kind as to change my name. i looked in the member's directory and it looks like the name i want isn't taken. if this is possible, could...

    Body work issue

sometime in my Stang's past, the hood flew off...i mean TOTALLY off...this left extensive dents in the roof and in the cowl panel. here is my question...is the cowl panel removeable without extensive labor? i have a PERFECT one out of my '86 donor car, i just need to know how to get it out...

    80 6 cyl

it would have to be a 3.3. the 2.8 was dropped after it's first year, 1979...seems like a good deal, would make a decent daily driver...i say go for it!! Josh

    ARRRRRGH, SO CLOSE!

well, my car ALMOST passed emissions this time, only failing by the idle HC's (Hydrocarbons), only by 62 points. i say "only" because last time it failed by over 1200 points, so this is a DRASTIC improvement, it's amazing what new lower intake manifold gaskets (the fancy kind that SEAL!) will...
