Whats up guys?, when i shift1st gear into second, i need to use a little muscle to get it into gear. All other gears it just slips right in. Any idea why? Tranny bad, Clutch bad? any ideas?

^^ synthetic can be used in any tranny

To the poster: you can try adjusting your clutch pedal to ensure the clutch is fully engaging. First put the car in "N". Push down the clutch all the way and release. Then pull up on the clutch pedal (toward you) until it clicks. The clutch is now adjusted. You may need an aftermarket quadrant adjuster to adjust the clutch fully, as the stock quadrant sucks.

Also, is the transmission making any noises? Specifically grinding?

X2. Try adjusting the clutch first. If you have an aftermarket shifter, recheck your stops.
