found a great condition 91 2.3/5sp parts car for my project car that I'm really interested in. My project car is an 88 2.3/5sp car though.
It's got a clear title I can use, 5sp tranny I can use, and a complete great condition black interior I can use.
I just have one big question about the underdash harness. Can I swap out the steering column from the 91 and use with the 88 underdash harness or will I have to also swap the underdash harness and will it bolt up correctly??
I dont want to have to worry when it comes time for emissions testing that I don't have an airbag equipped steering wheel in the car if that becomes an issue.
Otherwise I'd just make the 91 dash overlay fit as I've been told that can be done, and swap the tranny/title/interior over to my project car and be done with it.
