fuel lines

on my 88 gt, the fuel lines are all metal except for a like 12in section where i can un plug it form the engine. well those lines are toast, would i be able to just get a high presure line to connect the two metal lines then use hose clamps?

I've done it before. But I think you can get the insert fittings for an lines from Summit and just run a hose to two AN barb fittings on each end.
A bit more expensive, but also much more perminant.
