Hey guys.. the fan on my 85 gt has about had it, so i am replacing it.. however, instead ofgoing with a flex fan, i thought i would put in a electric fan.. but, without any relays in the car, how would i hook it up? I can wire it to a toggle switch, but then i would have to control it by my gauge, which isnt that great.. any other options?

summit or jegs offer an adjustable thermostat switch allowing you 2 choose what temp you want the fans 2 activate.
thats what im running 4 my two fans and have had no complaints here.
can wire your own harness (cheaper) useing common HD relay 2 either run the fans till sending unit shuts them down (between passes) or tapping into switched wire circuit useing for switched power source for relay also adding common inline fuse (preferabley waterproof) at the battery side of homemade wireing harness (soldered connections preferable & shrink tubeing)
