Well finally, someone at Grant admitted to the crappiness of their regular horn buttons AND presented a solution!
This:

combined with this:

and this:

and you end up with a nicely functioning horn button that doesn't pop off into your lap on a fairly cheap wheel that looks like this:

Crappy pics with flash, but you get the idea. The separate pieces of wood are not as drastically different as the pics make them look! I went with the cheaper chrome spoke wheel instead of the brushed spokes for easier upkeep for a guy who "sometimes" drives to & fro the parts store with dirty hands! Still trying to decide whether to leave the hub cover black or make it nugget gold like the column. Open to opinions. Yeah, I know i need new carpet and instrument bezel. I'v got all needed new interior stuff except the carpet (trying to decide on the color, thinkin' maybe brown to hide the dirt, LOL) just waiting till I finish up a few "DIRTY" jobs before putting the new stuff in.
My $.02,
Gene

Poppy,
You can still add the parts to any "Classic" wheel, after the fact, without even removing the wheel. Unless you already tossed it and went the bigger $$$ for a signature or better wheel.
