Heads Question

Will newer roller heads fit on older (1982) blocks? I ask this because I want to go roller and can get heads off of other cars at the wrecking yard for cheap, Thanks for the help!

the only heads that arnt a direct fit from all of the smallblocks are the cleveland, minus the size in head bolts from the 351. the only thing i ran across is the older heads have smaller thread size for accesories ont the most outward hole on the head
