*** DISCLAIMER - I dont work for any company, just trying to sort things thru my own head. This car will have a alum flywheel, alum DS, 3.73 gears, new Differential, steada lowering spings, and lower control arms. FI kits include fuel pumps, injectors, intercoolers, etc.***

SO far i have found the following

N/A:
UD pulleys - $240 (maybe 10hp?)
Intake system w/tuner - $675 (maybe 25hp?)
Mufflers - $300 (maybe 2-3hp?)
Long tube headers - $500 (not sure how much)
Off road x-pipe - 250 (again, no idea)
CMCR - $310 (10 hp?)

Guestimation - 325rwhp for $2275 all N/A
add nitrous (75 shot - $600) - 390ish rwhp for $2875

Turbo -
Pipeline turbo kit - $5495 - (from 400rwhp)
STS - $6500(ish) - from (400 rwhp)

Supercharger
KB - $5500 - (from 409rwhp)
ATI procharger - $5500 (from 440rwhp)
Vortec - $4500 (from 375hp)
Vortec HO - $5600 (from 420 rwhp)
Paxton - $4700 (from 380hp)
Paxton HO - $5800 (from 430 rwhp)

as you can see, the supercharger and turbos are about the same for HP/cost. Adding in nitrous refills (say 2 bottles per month at 40 bucks per bottle over say the next 3 years is $2880) its in the same ballpark as the FI systems.

Here is what i see. Turbos and S/C give you room to grow when you have more money to make a solid bottom end. N/A just isnt cutting it without the nitrous. So, if your looking to just break over the 320ish rwhp, NA is good. If your looking for the 400 rwhp and dont want any more down the road, you can go with any of the options. If you some day want to break 600hp, S/C and turbos seem liek the only viable options (300 shot just doesnt sound appealing even with a forged lower end).

i appreciate any comments or corrections. If you have a N/A car with full exhaust, intake, pulleys, CMCR, and anything else and have some dyno number, please post them up.

i dont mind head work, just hate to be without a car for 2-3 weeks. As for cams, ive heard conflicting sotries about the compueter timing not liking cams, but yes, if they can prove some decent gains from them and they will work the the stock computer, then hell yes.

edit, woops my bro was still logged in, this is actaully Mitstang
