Need help speedo cable

Not from the tranny, but from the back of the cluster. I've tried to get it for about 20 minutes. I know its depressing.

You have to pry up on that plastic clip it locks it in place. A flat head screw driver usualy helps me get the job done. And dont forget to grease the new cable or youll be like me and have to do the job twice!

I'm not putting it back in for a long time. I'll try prying and squeezing it. I wasn't able to get much back there.

I'm taking EVERYTHING out of the interior, and will prep for a cage, but that is long down the road.

just squeeze real hard, and haul back on the cluster at the same time, to get it off, it may take a couple minuts but it will come, i just did 2 of the last week.
