the third gear in my auto is toast. 1st & 2nd are fine but if i put it in D it vibrates
and bogs the motor. my question is , i'm going to put an 88 aod in there, what
can i do or change to be compatible with computor? any advice or experience
is greatly appreciated

D doesnt necessarily mean 3rd gear. For it to bog it sounds like the Torque converter locking up

but if i drop it to 1st or even 2nd for that matter it acts normal
would that be any different or do just need to replace the tc
