I was having problems with my window getting stuck so I finally got around to taking the window motor apart. The 3 bushings were completely destroyed so I went to the autopart store and got 3 more from the help section but when I put it back together... it seemed like the 3 bushings were too big. They dont sit in the white gear flat because of some little lip at the bottom of where each bushing is supposed to go. I did finally get the metal gear back on by hitting it with a hammer until i could get the gear clip back on but now that I put everything back together the window wont even budge. Could I have gotten the wrong bushings which is causing the motor to bind? I used the writeup in faq but it didnt really help with how your supposed to put the bushings back in. I'm gonna take the motor back out in a little bit. any suggestions would be great.
