SLP's Loudmouth Exhaust

Anyone using SLP's Loudmouth exhaust system? Or has anyone ever heard one of these systems. Contemplating order it for my car but was looking for some feedback from owners who are using it. To loud or not loud enough? How about interior noise? Any drone, etc....

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but did you bother doing a search? You should find numerous exhuast threads. Almost all will make referance to SLP loudmouths.

A similar but different option is the Pypes Violator's. It's the same style as the SLP's, except it's much much cheaper. Has a very similar sound too. I'd suggest looking in to them. I have them and they are amazing. Less drone than the stock mufflers and they sound absolutely sick when you open it up.

save money,take it to a muffler shop and have them taken off and replaced with tubing and some tips.

I have them and I love them and get compliments all the time on the sound. I got mine on ebay used for about $180.00...saw another used set out there today starting at $50.00

I have slp loudmouths.

They sound awsome!

They are bad on MPG... but Im alway in the gas so I can here the exhaust. If I could stay off the gas, MPG would not have changed.

No drone.

True Bolt-on (1 hour with basic tools)

Edit: And can you have them sust cout off the stock tips and re-use them?

there is no baffle or "special" tubing used on the SLP's. I just had the muffler shop weld on some 3" tips, i kept them as a slip fit in case i ever wanted to reinstall the stockers later.

the stock mufflers are clamped on with a band clamp, and the pipes i had made we used a clamp to be able to remove them. The tips will be as cheap or as nice as you wanna spend.

Thanks again man for the idea on another thread, cost me like $65 without tips and i think they sound like LM pipes.

It has definite drone though and an almost trailer park/monster truck sound, but when you step on it the sound is wonderful, except it attracts cops i have found. I can't even hear the tires over the pipes when doing donuts. Once one adds LTs and/or pulls the cats though i think it would be a bit much.

Check this 05 with JBA LTs, an X, no cats and no pipes:

Try flooring it when you go through a tunnel or underpass, it'll scare people

Mine has a slight drone, but nothing like a Flowmaster does

I am real curious if put a x pipe
