I'd drive this, but first I'd remove the 5.0 badge and turbo sticker... Paint it brown and airbrush some rust on the fenders for an added touch hehe I love sleepers like this.

This is, to me, a very nice Honda CRX - not riced out. Basic engine swap, nothing fancy... 175hp and 111lb-ft torque.

If I were to build a FWD Honda, it would look like this for sure. Not sure about what engine is in there but they now have kits to dump a K20 or is it K22 in these things now which have more like 200lb-ft of torque and 200-220hp? With lots of time and money, I think it would be awesome to retro fit the RWD S2000 drivetrain in a CRX. A guy in quebec managed to do that to a Civic DX so it can be done, well anything is possible with some cash, welder and plasma cutter

FWIW, a couple of local cars. Both of them have an ungodly amount of money in them, though. A lot of people believe they are the nicest of their breed ever built.

I miss my wife's old CRX. I really think I might pickup another to play with. Not hard to make them handle on a rail or make some decent power. Plus they run like a tank. Road noise was the only killer.

You know what's REALLY funny. My girlfriend drives a Honda EX. Matter of fact, I drove it to work today b/c my car's going under the knife for a new valvetrain soon.

I have a ton of questions regarding best spark plug to use for the vehicle when I go to change 'em, and what does this do and what does that do? The last thing I could think of would be to come on this forum and ask a bunch of questions regarding a Honda Civic. It's actually a nice looking vehicle with chrome rims that were on it when she bought it three years ago.

But that's not going to provoke me into taking pictures of it and posting on this forum about it.

Matter of fact, I'm about to log into Honda-tech, create an account, and ask questions to the people who deal with Honda vehicles. I mean, that would only make sense, right?

And I'm pretty sure if I were looking for information on a Honda, I PROBABLY wouldn't search for a website entitled "Stangnet".

But I could be wrong though....

I think all these threads should be shut down, a well built honda is a contender, with a mild modded 5.0. some of you guys think that the 5.0 rules all, some think that honda's are better the 5.0's it dosnt matter at all, we are on a MUSTANG site, not a honda site. sure we all have trillions of stories of civics weve beaten, most of them are stock d15 or b16 cars with a body kit, who cares if the owner thinks its fast, we know its not as fast as ours, but one day his might be faster than ours!!!

i'm not really a honda fan, meaning i wouldnt build one myself.
but i do respect a well done car. 90% of hondas and imports are "stock with fart can exhaust and body kit"

but there are nice ones that are FAST, sure it takes some money, but its not a bad thing to see something different that can run a decent number.

at out local track we there have been some fast hondas.

one was a bone stock looking civic, it had some wheels and a tip but that was it for appearence. when i first saw it, it has some big fat slicks up front and i started making fun of it "man that silly goose doesnt need a tire like that for such a puny car"

turns out i spoke too soon. the car ran low 11s@127-130mph, a FAST car, i duno what it had for sure , but i have heard its just a simple turbo deal making alot of boost. it was a screaming car, i raced it once, i had it off the line and all the way up to the 8th, then he FLEW by me like i was sitting still.
