olympia to portland is like 100 miles roughly. i can get there in just under 2 hours.

so that would make it like 5-6 hours then. definately worth it then from the sounds of it.

sick picture of cory.. dont think ive ever gotten roost like that off my sand stars :D

Tks, Keith has some wicked camera skillz. I have some video that I am trying to add. W

We need to get a few more SN peoples out on the dunes. :nice:

we stay at discovery point, same weekend every year, we have the entire north tip of the camground reserved for our group, and we reserve if for the next year the day we leave, otherwise its nearly impossible to get reservations in there anymore.

I know what you mean. Heck, even during the wk, the camp grounds are full from End of June till Labor day.

We need to schedule a day trip in Sept. :nice:

lets do it! its gotta be either my day off during the week or a sunday for me, lemme know what you guys come up with, I'll be there if I can :D

If we go this Sunday it needs to be very early. Even early the place will be a zoo. I'm not saying I wont go but a holiday weekend at SL will be crazy. Plenty of people for Cory to drag race :nice:

You need a pass from the forest service for labor day wkend to enter Sand Lake. It's too late to get one as they are all gone, so no chance this wkend. But I love the racing chances:nice:

Sept 8 and 9 are not good for me, sorry
