Welder by trade. I now repair/rebuild and computer balance industrial centrifical rotating equipment. I typically work 40 hrs a week in the repair shop. When I am on the road hrs vary. I have been with my current company for 9 yrs.

Here's how my time is divided throughout the week:

80% - Hospital laboratory registration specialist (40 hours, plus 10 hours of unpaid driving time per week, been doing it 1.5 years)
10% - Volunteer mechanic
8% - StangNet novella writer ;)
1% - Guitar Hero wannabe
1% - Expert Fapper

Am I the only poor sap doing the corporate office thing? lol Damn TPS reports. :bang:

a perk to my job is heckling you corprate guys for money to get my job done and then begging the IT guys to fix my computer and POS printer that oddly enough just like in Office Space jams when I try to collate. But I did see a Xerox truck pull in today so mebbe I have a new machine coming. I have been jonesing for a
Biz-Hub.

Mechanical Engineer. I design small filters used in the production of microchips and other electronic equipment. The filters i design are used in the tooling and filter out 99.999999999% of all particles passing through them....and have high flow rates :) They look like little inline fuel filters but can cost from $150 to over $3000

I work 40 hours/week and make my own hours, but i have a laptop that i take home so sometimes i get an idea and will model it as i sit on my couch watching football :) We use Inventor and Solidworks if you are wondering (I use SW mostly though)

I'm also a licensed Electrician, and once in a while i do a side job here and there....depends on if it's easy. Nothing better than installing a ceiling fan for $300 and finishing in 1.5 hours ;)
