Would 300rwtq @ ~2700rpms satisfy you guys for a street car??????

Yeah, I'd say thats a rather relative question. What would not satisfy me is getting my car tuned at Livernois. Talk about a terrible outfit. 
Dan Millen's car kicks ass. Other than that I don't know anything about Livernois. As far as the original question, I am never satisfied.

You're right DAN MILLEN'S car does. Their customer service and quality of work to the "ordinary" guy is a terrible.
Sounds like a lot of places. You start to wonder how many of your hard earned dollars are going into other people's cars.

Oh, I totally agree, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. I'll admit that I don't know crap about tuning though.

Buy a 5.0. 225hp 300ft/lbs tq. Stock and call it a day, if that really satisfies you? There's no such think as a FINISHED mustang
I read the real ford ratings on those 5.0 were 275WTQ since the 1993 cobra had 285 but that's total not rwtq. I think most of us are looking for 300 rwtq before 3000.
But what you probably also read was that the 91-92 motor was stronger than the 93 motor. although I will agree that it would be nice a little closer2200- 2500 but when your running up into the 5500k range 3k doesn't seem so high

anyway, this is the dyno of a Cobalt SS with JUST a tune. Those cars are pretty bad ass....launch and shift control? This is why computers >>>>>>>>>>> carb.
For those that dont know, i read that the you put the clutch in, put the gas to the floor, the computer rev's it to 5100 to build boost and helps feather the clutch out to launch. And on shifts, you just keep the gas to the floor, throw the clutch in, shift, and let it out.

Yeah, I know so many bad experience stories from Livernois its pathetic.
1. They jacked up a guy I knows beautiful fox body wrong and buckled the front fender.
2. Me and my buddy went to pick up his blown cobra after its tune and the side exhaust was bent terribly. We had to wait 3 hours for them to "find time" to fix it.
3. Another buddy of mine had an appointment on a saturday for a tune all set and confirmed over the phone. Showed up there (its a 2.5 hour drive) and they said they had no idea why he was there and said they dont tune on saturdays. The proceeded to tell him he could leave it there for a couple days and they could try and find time to get to it.
4. When I was checking into where to get my car tuned on pricing and such I called them to get some info, the guy was short and not helpful at all. Then I asked him how they compared to another shop nearby since I was trying to figure out what the best place for me to take it would be, and with that he hung up on me. Real fricken awesome service.
They are a joke.

Yea, its a shame. The EASIEST part of business is customer service. Their product can be average, but if their service is great, their product will get a boost. But with bad service, even a great product is worthless to people.
anywho, looks like these cobalts are just waiting to be unleashed. One more reason to turbo the stang....
