Yeah, I decided to stay old school 17s. I'll be washing it tomorrow. :D

Good move... I bought the 18x9, 18x10 silver FR500 set and man are they f'n heavy. My already slow NPI is slower... f'n granny wagons can outrun her... suppose that doesn't impact you with that noisy belt driven thing you have under the hood :p

So, what do you think about 245/45-17s on the front? Would they be too skinny for a 9" wheel? They are on my 8.5" stock wheels and they already look skinny. But I feel like 275/35-17s would be too fat...

Hard to judge... my wheels came with 245 40 18's in front and 265 35 18's in the rear. The fronts don't seem too narrow, but the rears were really narrow for a 10" rim and the sidewall height was pathetically small. I ended up buying some 285 35 18's a month ago and I'm much happier with them in the rear. I think the 245 45's will be fine for you, but I haven't seen them on a 17x9 wheel only on a 18x9 wheel

Trust me a 245 is going to be way too skinny for a 9 inch wheel. With a 255 on mine, there is barely any wheel protection at all. This the only picture I can find, and its pouring outside, but if you look close enough you can see what im talking about.

Are those 17" wheels Steeda?

I'd have to agree with you on this Steeda. The 275's will look much better than 245's, but for the money 245's will look damn good from the side, it's the rear 1/4 view where they look too skinny and have too much rim showing... make sense?

They are 18's

And for the price, it is probably good to go with a 245, but with my car the little things always bother me and I just think it would look better with a wider tire. My next set in the front will be wider for sure, I mean that's if I still have the car.

Mine came with a 245 Nexen brand tire.. haha cheap asian crap, but they seem wider than other 245's I've had in the past  I have the 265/35 that came with my rear wheels that I'll install in the front once the 245's wear out.

Taking the fact that I have 17" wheels and I'm not feeling the 245s anymore, 265/35-17s the solution on a 9" wheel? I just feel 275s will be too wide for the front. I'm definitely going 315s in the rear.

On Edit: I guess I have no choice. 245s or 275s on the front so 275s it will be.
