Engine Tower Strut or Sub-Frame Connectors

Just wondering which one to install if you had to choose, Tower Strut or Sub-Frame Connectors?

IMHO, choosing between strut tower braces and subframes, get the subframes every time. No personal experience, just opinions absorbed from reading many posts. (Mostly from reading posts on http://www.corner-carvers.com suspension forum.)

The subs hands down if you can get full lengths. The tower really is not going to do anythin for you. especially if you plan on drag racing or street racing.

Having just installed a Steeda strut bar I would have to agree with the subs. Although I can tell a little difference in the front end when taking a turn aggressively it really didnt do much for the cowl shake and those annoying rattles in the dash. Subframes will be on order soon.

I did Steeda Strut tower brace first. Didn't make THAT much of a difference. Then, I got my Kenny Brown SuperSubs installed about a month ago. Big difference. Go with subs first, you won't regret it. They make the car feel much more solid!

Go w/ subs and a jacking rail if you plan on working on your car at all. The rail won't help rigidity, much, but they sure are nice when used frequently and not having to worry about finding a place for the jack and stands!

I really dont think you should waste your money on the tower brace... I would do the Full length Subs with the Jacking platform As ACIDPETE mentioned. after you do the Subs I would not waste my money on the tower I would rather buy some upper and lower control arms.... Your car will hook hard after that....

Hey guy sorry to get off subject but I have'nt heard of jacking rails before this post! What are they (duh) and also i have been jacking my car up by the sub frame how bad is that? (only twice though) do my full lenth m.m's have them? sorry for the cluelessness! ----nice word!
