Well, I have owned this car for about 2 weeks and 3 tanks of gas. I just filled today and got 25 MPG this tank. Normal driving, no highway driving and I still have yet to put in a K&N filter.

Looks sweet, plenty of power to enjoy, good gas mileage, damn I like this car!

Gas mileage all depends upon your driving habits and routes. For me, depending on how cold it is, i might remote start my car for about 2-3 minutes just to let her run a little. Also, here at school I drive back and forth between classes and my house usually 2 times a day (depending on how spread out classes are)...granted its only about 5 miles or so, the route has nice 12%+ grade hills that just love to eat gas! And its stop and go traffic. Also, i usually end up circling the parking lot sometimes for 20-30 minutes looking for a spot. So sometimes i only get 14 mpg, which is probably more close to 18-19mpg city. I just hate hills, stop and go traffic, and circlining aimlessly around the lot, it eats my gas. Oh by the way, i also have an '02 with 15,000 miles, daily driver.

Congrats on the car and that good gas mileage :nice:

Yeah, there are many things that can impact it, but I never expected to see better than 24 mpg even on HWY driving, so 25 driving to town and around town makes me happy. I never saw better than 25 in my 2.3 turbo stang.

I have to drive to Denver tomorrow, so I'll see how my highway mileage rates.

190 miles yesterday, mostly freeway. Spent an hour in a traffic jam moving 5 miles. 190 miles, 7 gallons even, 27.14 mpg.

The first thing I did when I bought this car was put a bottle of Techron through it, I assume it has helped. Another thing that may be helping is the new max life tranny fluid. I plan on picking up a K&N filter this coming week.

I was averaging about 21/22 mpg hw only. After putting in my K & N air filter and putting 6 new Bosch platinum +4 spark plugs in i get 27.2 mpg. I just got that today actually and am quite impressed. Im not sure if the filter did more or the spark plugs. Just a tip if youre looking for some better gas millage. SPARK PLUGS! They are cheap too. mine ran about $6 a piece ($36 all together).
