Just got done installing my Dr Gas X...

All I can say is "wow" :nice: Sounds like a musclecar at idle, and screams like a stock car at 4000K+! I get a woody every time step on it

The install was easy except for a pesky leak at the drivers side manifold. Changing the exhaust studs cured it, but all in all, the fitment was great.

Listen for yourself...

Dr Gas X, stock manifolds, & MAC flowpath cat back

Sounds good, I guess you'd hold a hard-on in my car! MAC LT, O/R X and 2 Chamber flows.

That is one of the best sounding exhausts that I have ever heard! The upper RPM's sound nothing short of phenominal. It sounds like you have 381 cubes instead of 281! Is the sound with the x-pipe much different than with just the catback? After hearing that, I'm considering a MAC catback! Oh yeah....Did you get a big SOTP improvement. Sorry for all the Q's, I'm just happy for ya and curious.

Thanks for the compliments :nice:

The addition of the X-pipe made the car sound totally different, much. Although I loved the sound(and got many compliments) of just the cat back with the stock H. My SOTP meter isin't that accurate, but it feels like the car pulls harder in the mid to upper RPM's :D

Sounds great man...now your giving me the thoughts of that or a prochamber...WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS SO DIFFICULT Car sounds great and looks good with those cobras.

That was my decision too! Both sound great, but I liked the Dr. Gas a little better. The only drawback is the Dr. Gas needs welded together, so it's a little more labor intensive if installing it yourself, and a little more costly if a shop is doing it.

Thanks for the compliments :D

Sounds good! Any chance you would let me hear it in person and make a clip of my exhaust too? I've been trying for the longest time to get someone from around the 'burgh to make one for me and haven't had any luck yet. Can you do it? How about recording one going through the Squirrel Hill, Ft. Pitt or Liberty tunnel?? :D "Don't worry officer, we weren't speeding ... honestly, we were just recording a sound clip". :rlaugh: What do you think, good idea?

No problem, we can hook up when this winter ever decides to end! My best friend just got an '03 Cobra this past fall, so we will be out crusing soon.:nice:

I can't imagine what shooting through the liberty tubes at WOT would sound like :hail2:
