Roush Diecast 99+ Saleen S281

  • Sponsors (?)

hey.....

I don't think they make them,as you said only the previous models exist,i was never able to find one.

I tried many Hobby stores and they had all the cars you can think of but the S-281 they did not have.....

Those look sweet! Too bad the F&F one doesn't come out until August, and the SA-20 until December :( I have been waiting a LOOOONG time for a saleen 1999+ model, it's about time!

For a look at the Saleen SR model, check out here... I bought one from this guy and it actually is a pretty cool little piece, too bad the engine is totally inaccurate. Turns out that MotorMax was the company that made it.

For the price, the engine isn't going to get to detailed but I wouldn't call it "totally inaccurate". Remember that the SR's are not street cars. The motors in the early SR's were still pushrod. I have pics of the SR Terry Borcheller drove and early pics of John Young's SR, the motor looks vaguely similar. Too bad I haven't seen any of those locally or I'd have a few of those.
