A friend of mine is thinking about selling his 1995 Mustang GT-S. I know its a rare car, and its red, so even lower build numbers, but I'm more interested in performance. What can it do with a decent driver stock? Is there really any big difference between it and a regular GT or and SVT of the same year?

Theres going to be a little difference, but not mcuh from what i understand. Maybe a 100-150 pounds less at the most, which should give you maybe a tenth or two at the track. I'm not sure what you mean by 'what can it do', but I'm assuming 1/4 times, so I'm going to say you could maybe go 14.6-14.8 with a stock GTS/slicks and one hell of a driver.

But I really don't know what I'm talking about so hopefully one of the GTS guys will get in here.......

The only thing the GTS has going for it is the lower weight which will make it run faster, but not much, in the 1/4 mile. If you dont want power windows, locks, seats, and all that fancy chit then go for the GTS :nice: I personally think its more comfortable than a normal GT. I was able to run 14.7 but forgot the mph completly stock down to the paper filter on street tires.

there not really any faster than a gt, however you do get no options. Its a rare care so that IS a plus. How much?

I haven't talked price yet, I was just shootin shiet with the guy and he mentioned it was for sale. I gotta check my own financial situation a little more in depth. I'm just trying to figure out right now if I should even consider it.
