What a joke what a shame for GM and GTO :rlaugh: :rlaugh: , GM gonna do same mistake like they do with Camaro and T/A send in history because their cars are too much money
1960s are come back and Ford rocks :p

I love the mach 1, they have done a good job with it. This most likely the worst place to say it but i really liked the camaros, but they got rid of them. big mistake, what is their sports car now, that crappy caviler. They made me mad.

Now even worse they defiled the legend of the gto, It look terrible. I will drive my car without fenders before I will drive that. It wouldn't make me that mad if it wasn't a gto.

While the topic is GM's mistakes, what's up with that ugly SSR truck thing?

The plymouth prowler was o.k. even though it didn't look as cool as a real '32 ford roadster. I don't know WTF that SSR thing is suposed to look like, but it's ugly.

Ford has had it's low points also, the T-bird didn't really work for nostalgia, but it isn't really ugly.

I think that truck rocks!!! But I do have to agree that they should have kept the Goat sacred.

Yeah they really killed it, it looks like nothing more then a glorifyed Grand AM GT. GM cant do anything right, the kill the camaro and butcher the GTO.

I think that SS truck thing is pretty stupid looking. I saw one at the grocery store, it was black. It had a toneau cover. I was just thinking 'what's the point?' Is it a truck, a car, who knows! It's like the PT cruiser, nobody knows what it is exactly. SO why buy it?? Again, I have no idea! The only good thing coming from GM I think is the new Vette. The GM truck line is absolutely hideous. The new Ford trucks are badass looking.

It's shameful that Chrystler cars are starting to look cooler than GM's.

Ford and GM are struggling in the car area due to truck sales. Truck sales for both have been in the double digits for the last few years. Meanwhile Nissan, Toyota, Honda and even Chrysler sales were in the double digits accross the board. In fact Nissan was #1 with a 25% increase in sales followed by Chrysler with 17%. Ford and GM were not even in the top 5. Looks like more of the same this year. The big two got caught in the truck game and now that gas prices and insurance rates for SUV's/Trucks have increased sales will most likely be flat now.

Nissan is another company I like. They've always made cool stuff, but I don't like the new trucks at all. Sure, they're huge which is cool, but the body styling is really wierd. I wonder how the entry of foreign markets with large maintream trucks will effect the overall market down the road. I'd assume it would drive the price down, hopefully to the point where I can afford one!

For 41 grand U think the thing would atleast be fast

You guys think that the "GTO" would be more respected if they had gone with a different name for the car? It just looks too much like a Grand AM for me to ever like it. No matter how fast you are, you cant outrun ugly. Thats the reason I didnt like the last gen Camaros. I just cant picture myself driving around in 3000 pound Big Mouth Bass.
