What kind of cars can I beat with 4:10's?

With those mods, you're prolly 240-250 @ the wheels. You can beat LS1s...until about 60mph, possibly 98+ Maximas. What cars are you trying to beat?

Anyone have a definitive answer to how many tenths you'll pick up from a 3.27 -> 4.10 gear swap? If anyone has recorded their time differences from that mod *alone* it'll really help in evaluating how much quicker you'll be. Just subtract the times as a rough estimate.
I'd like to know how much time you pick up on a otherwise stock 4.6L engine anyway.

I think I can beat those cars with the stock 3:27's..I'm just curios on what cars I would have an edge on, The last time I raced a WRX ( non STI) We raced from a roll I was in 2nd gear and when we both floored it, He just took off while I had to wait for my car to get into the powerband. Which felt like forever, But thats not the case now that I got the 4:10s, The car is always on the powerband.

As for what you can beat, I'm not sure but you should destroy maxima's and you probably have that wrx. Was he stock, and did he beat you?

1) well it depends on whether or not you can actually drive your car, & whoever is racing you can actually drive theirs
2) i gained 3 tenths in the 1/8th mile (all i have around here), my first time to the track in my 98 when i got them in there.

The answers your getting are just speculation. No one knows for certain what you can beat until you beat them.

wtf you couldnt beat wrx and maximas are a challenge since when I absolutely raped a wrx at the track and took down a gtp grand prix by a car length or so and my car is all stock except for the flowmasters dont know why your having trouble with wrx and maximas they are easily beatable 
they are good for a couple tenths, that's of course if the other variables are the same:shift points, traction, weather. When i got mine, my times actually got worse, but that was my driving. with just gears and et streets my vert went 13.60's
