subscribing, mine are all hazy and look crappy but I dont feel like dishing out over $200 for new headlights, thats money I could use for something else.
There's a plastic cleaning kit on the market that comes with everything needed to make hazy plastic lenses look good once again. You get polish, polishing attachment for drill motor and several levels of sandpaper, emory wheel plus a buffer pad to renew these. The effort is moderate and the cost is reasonable. Here are some web references, I'm sure there are others.

After making sure the lenses are clean (or they'll scratch from the abrasive quality of dirt), try some motorcycle windshield polish. I've had great luck with it on one son's '94 T-Bird and another son's '80's Ford 3/4 ton p/u. I also use it on my '65's rear lenses and my '01 fronts.

does the yellow stuff build up on the inside or outside of the headlight?? i had it on my old 97GT, but i slapped some blackouts on it to hide it, plus, it looked a hella lot better w/ the blackouts :nice:

i was thinking about doing that, but my car is Deep Violet, i dont think blackout covers will look good...and i agree, as much as i would like to get the smoked, clear lights, thats 200 better spent on go-fast stuff
