Im a teenager. Frankly, SLP isn't loud to me at all. Im always messing around with my car, so taking it off every once in a while isn't that big of a deal. So emissions aren't a concern to me. Now, how loud is really loud? I can take really loud. I want to pull into parking lots and have everyone turn their heads. Why? Because Im a punk ass teenager and can do that. :rlaugh:

No really, for horsepower. And the fact it is cheaper than the catted one... I like to spend my money wisely. I work too hard to waste it. Thanks!

check out the sounds i have posted on my website (in my sig) click on sounds. check the mods page of the website for my setup info (full SLP) tell me if it's loud enough (windows rattle when i drive by, and my car is louder than 6 harley davidsons cruising together on the highway)

If you want the LOUDEST of the loudest I suggest the following...

Offroad X with SLP loudmouth, Magnapacks, or Dynomax Bullets

or

Offroad H pipe and one chamber Flowmasters.

Any of those combos are going to make women and children cry when you drive by. Or you could go this route...

This is my friends 96 Cobra stock manifolds into an offroad Bassani X pipe with no catback...just an open X pipe.

Anything with an offroad pipe is gonna be really loud. While you may think it's fine while driving around town, try it on the highway.Even as good as the stang sounds, it still get annoying on long drives.

I've got the magnaflows too...your car did get alot louder with the offroad pipe?

SLP's with an O/R X are freaking obnoxious!!! But that's not a bad thing. :nice:

I don't want mine that loudd since it's a vert. but damn did it sound good. I heard it with a Dr. Gas O/R X. It had a burble a little though.

Why would I got with magna or flowmasters? I would like to be part of the .01% that doesn't have that on their mustang.
thats weird, cause 99.99% of the mustangs I hear sound badass :nice:

If you just want loud, long tubes into straight pipes (with no balance tube or crossover), right into some glasspacks/straight mufflers...Not saying it will sound the best, but it will be loud. Straight pipes are louder than an H pipe and an H is a little louder than an X. It would sound like an older stang that way.

SLP long tube headers=700 dollars SLP X pipe=400 dollars loud mouth cat back exhaust=400 dollars. The performance of a quality engineered high flow exhaust system=Priceless :D Vote SLP King of the exhaust. SLP=Performace=The Win

I have to agree with you on that. I have a full SLP system and I love it. Absolutely love it.

I have the SLP CB and love the sound with 4 freakin cats !!

Trick is to get some Comp cams and springs installed.

I guy named Lew has cams and SLP's on his GT.

Total music !!!

I can post the link if needed...........
