has anybody actually did this swap?i hearthat all you have to do is use the tranny hangers off of the sn-95.my friend has a bbk catted pipe plus an offroad pipe since he went to lts and a catted pipe and was wondering if it would work and how did it fit.

Best I can tell you is to hold it up under there and see what it looks like. If they don't line up, cut them off, bolt it to the trans and then weld the brackets back to the pipes wherever they need to be. :nice: I'm guessing you're either doing this on your own or you know somebody that owns an exhaust shop, because I don't think any legit shop is going to risk it in VA.

yeah i'm doing it myself because we really don't have an exhaust shop that i trust to decent custom work.they screw up putting catbacks on.i have work in a garage so i have access to a lift and a welder so not a problem.main thing i was worried about was total length and would it follow the floorpan contour.thanks for the replys.

Hey, slowgt. I was wondering the same thing because I was thinking about using my fox body X-pipe on my 95. I know the length has to be the same because the Fox-frame hasnt changed from 79-04, but you basically just didnt use the SN-95 hangars. You havent had any problems or hanging issues at all? thanks

that was my main concern also because my 4 cat pipe had the mounting tabs cutoff of it and it always sagged down even after raising and tightening it.i tried a 2 cat merit replacement pipe but it was a few inches shorter than stock and the mounting tabs didn't fit very well,i had to heat and bend the crap out of them to fit and i'm not very happy with it so i thought i'd try the sn-95 pipe of my friends instead of buying another pipe as i've got to save up for an impending clutch job.
