I posted about this a while back. Today I have narrowed it down. When I would press on the brakes it would either go dim or totally turn off. Then after a few seconds come back on. It is also sometimes hard starting as if the alt is dying.

Forgive me if this sounds obvious, but the Mach 460 has a setting for speed sensitive sound. IE, if it is set at it's highest setting, the volume will decrease dramatically with braking. Are you sure you don't have this feature turned on?

If the screen is dimming, it's not that feature. How do you turn it on anyway?

push in the volume/power button and hold it down until it says speed volum and then use the selector to set how sensitive u want it

No. ****ing. Way.

I always hoped it had that feature, but never knew it did. You're the man. :nice:
