New spark plugs and wires

Hello. Has anyone changed the plugs in their Cobra yet? I have a Black 97 with some bolt on mods and am nearing the 50,000 mile mark. I want to change my plugs and wires, but am unsure what brand to use. I have had bad luck in other vehicles, (not Mustangs), in which the more expensive Bosch platinum plugs didn't work as well as the cheap Autolite ones did. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I also use the Autolites, but just get the regular copper ones. I am currently using MSD 8.5 super conductor wires and they have worked well for me. I will probably get these again if not I will try out the Live wires.

Yeah, if those plugs are the originals from 1997, then new plugs would be a good idea. I recently changed my factory plugs out at the 30,000 mile mark & they were "worn out" - new Copper (Motorcraft) plugs definately helped. :)

A lot of people like Copper plugs because they perform well (and are cheap!), so changing them out semi-frequently is no big deal for those who like to tinker under the hood.

On the other side of the fence you have the platinum plugs - their biggest benefit is that you can run them for an extended period of time/mileage.
