Fox 4 banger Springs

If i put fox 4 banger springs on my 99 gt will it lower my car and is there any draw backs in doing this? Cause I think my rear end sits good but my front end is high so I was think I could get some springs of a fox at the junk yard and swap out the front springs.

do this definetly....i have a set of 4 banger fox body springs goin in my 02 gt as soon as my strange 10-way adj. struts come in.

it will lower about an inch and will give you alot better weight transfer.

and if you want...throw in a set of fox body V8 rear springs in the back and cut anywhere from 1/4 coil to 1 coil off.

i believe Ryan02stang has this setup on his car right now.

i cant wait till i get mine it.

This is the thing I just want to lower my front end, How much do you think i could get some fox spring at the junk yard? BTw i'm from St. Louis also

I bought mine from a guy on stlmustangs for 40 bucks. I wouldn't expect to pay anymore than 50 for a pair.
If you get on stlmustangs.com post an ad in the wanted section...I'm sure someone will have a set.

Do a forum search for "fox springs" - there is a ton of good info out here already. I'd spend some time running thru those posts. You'll probably find all you need.
