So on Friday I decided to take my car out to my parents to park it which is in Elrose. I got there and parked it and then headed to Eston with a buddy cause he was parking his car as well this weekend. We went to the bar till 3 in the morning, the sky was still clear but when we got up the next morning there was 6"s of snow. When we headed back to s'toon it snowed all the way till rosetown were it tapered off. So just a heads up it should hit everywhere else tonight or tomorrow. I got mine parked just in time. Apparently the sask, alberta border has already recieved 15"s.

 SNOW????
Ya, I just checked Environment Canada on the net, and they are calling for snow everyday next week. :( I didn't think there would be much other than a few flurries, but from what you have seen, I guess I was mistaken. I've got my winter beater all spruced up and ready for winter. Maybe I'll putter out to the farm and wake the snowmobile up from it's summer slumber, and fire it up.
Thanks for the heads up!!!

Oh Oh. My wife just went down to my insurance broker yesterday. I just bought her a Jimmy yesterday so i told her to make sure that they keep the Jimmy on right now and my Stang and tell them to put parked coverage on my jeep. I told her we had at least another month before i bring out the beater. OOPS!!!! I just took a look at the sky, YIKES! Bright pink and she is getting cold. Please warm up, please warm up, please warm up!!!!! i ain't ready for the white stuff yet. Winter sucks!! :damnit:

I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to do. I have an 87 LX 4 cyl with only 50,000KM!! and a 94 GT. I am attending university right now which is about a 30 minute drive. I would like to drive my GT through the winter, but to do this I would have to buy winter tires and rims. Or I could drive the LX for the winter which already has winter tires on it. The LX is obviously better for gas and will save me some on insurance. But I know as soon as i start driving the LX I will miss the GT. I NEED THE POWER!!! what would you guys do if you were me?

P.S. After paying off debts I only make $200 a month for gas and everything else.

I hate to say it but park the GT. :( . It only makes sense. It will save you money and really it aint that fun white knuckling it as the rear end of your car kicks out from you doing 110. I decided to bring mine out early last year and almost totaled it. I learned my lesson. She goes parky parky when the white stuff comes. No sense in buying rims and tires if you got a winter beater already (not trying to say your LX is a pile). It will make it that much more sweet when March/April come and you can transfer into the 5.0 and grenade some tires! :D

there is definately enough snow in s'toon to go snowmobiling now, I went yesterday and it was borderline but we have 6-8"s now so i am all ready to go. If anyone is looking for someone to snowmobiling with just pm me i am always looking for people to ride with.
