OT: 2006 Z06 Pics

Ok Mr. Ford Lover, dont get your hopes up. Lightning production has been delayed a few years, the Cobra concept will not be made and the 03 cobras werent "rushed" together. Thats one of the greatest production engines built. Personally I still think the z06 wll probably still be able to kill the new gen cobra. I hate people with your mindset, just because it has a blue emblem doesnt mean its god-like. Id take a Chevy/Dodge/whatever as long as its well built and has the performance. Sorry to bust your chops and I dont care if I have spelling mistakes.

1. Why would I not get my hopes up?
2. The Lightning was "delayed" because of the new F-150 platform, same reason the next gen Mustang Cobra was delayed.
3. When I say Cobra or Shelby, I mean that as Mustang Cobra or Shelby Mustang, not Cobra Cobra like as in the v10 concept.
4. Notice the "s around the word rushed, and the emphasis on "somewhat." What I mean is that the supercharger on the 03 was, SOMEWHAT of an afterthought. Look it up. I don't write 'em I read 'em. Yes it most certainly is an outstanding engine.
5. So you hate me do you? You judge a person based on a few paragraphs of text expressing their strong love and loyalty for a particular brand of car? Wait are we in a GM forum? No I just double checked yes it's a MUSTANG forum. I love Mustangs and Fords and that's who I am and always will be. Also notice how I say that I can appreciate other non-Ford cars, I just would choose not to own them. I am not the close-minded idiot you assume I am. Yes I said I hate GM, I hate rice cars too, and loud tv commercials, and when NFL refs still get the call wrong even after watching the replay. But maybe we have different interpretations of the word. I would never, in any way, do something that would ever cause any kind of damage or anything to someones car because I "hate" it. I don't even talk crap about a particular car (ricer for instance) to a kid unless he asks for it. I have strong feelings, I know what I want and I know what I like and I'm not afraid to speak it if the opportunity arises. What's so wrong about loyalty? If you only ever drink Coke and HATE Pepsi I certainly wouldn't hate you for it.

i would have to say i have doubts that ford will put somethign out to compete with that z06, btu i sure as hell hope they do. god i love these horsepower wars going on now. since i missed to last on in the 60s. but hey if my dad was around to see those hp wars and im here for these just imagine what my kids will be around for.

I love vettes,,but the Ford GT-40 would compete with it,even though its almost 3 times the price of a vette.
