question about magnaflow exhaust system

I was just wondering what people thought of this system. I'm looking for something just a little bit louder than the stock but I don't want anything obnoxious. I also like the magnaflows look and hp gain is nice too . If any has this system or has heard it in person I would like to know your thoughts or if you have ever suggestions you think might fit what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Magnaflow is straight thru muffler like borla and bassani. They are cool cause they are stailess steel with lifetime warranty. Its not gonna be too obnoxious unless you get off road pipe

I have this system installed with the Magnapacks and it sounds great. It added a deep growl to the car. No complaints from this driver.

do you get an interior drone sound at highway speeds?

Ihave the magnaflow system as well,and no the drone that was common with the flowmaster and others is not there.Overall the sytems is nice fit was great and it looks awsume.The only problem I have is that it did not make the car that much louder,but I do not have headers or an x-pipe yet so we will have to see.

WHAT ABOUT NO MUFFLERS?

What does the 05 GT sound like with no mufflers, just stock cats and pipes, not worrying about the performance gain? Maybe we don't need the high cost of mufflers to get the "SOUND WE WANT". Is this a choice we want to explore as a low cost consumer? I hope someone tries IT and replies before we all spend a bundle on a high performance car with a great sound and NO perforamnace gains. What are your thoughts?

I went to a local mustang club meeting on Thurs night, and there were multiple people that said they heard a guy here in town who had done just that, took out the muffs and had a shop put in some straight pipes...They said it sounded great, and the guy said he felt no difference in performance....

I think I am going to at least give it a shot, as I am looking at buying the Magnaflows anyway,....worst case, I dont like it, and buy the Magnaflows like I already planned to...
