Whats up guys? My parents are refinancing the house and the resulting money theyre getting back is resulting in me getting my fathers Town Car for my new winter ride. Still not the greatest in the snow, but its bigger than my 88 5.0 and has the nice additions of anti-lock brakes and air bags... just in case. In any case, since the stangs gonna be up for the winter I wanted to do a rebuild on the engine (I can thank the Department of Education for the large amount of cash back on my student loans)
To end the ramble, does anyone know of any good machine shops? I live in CT right at the mass border but I work at Webster-Dudley Lincoln Mercury in Mass, which is a little south of Worcester. If anyone has dealt with any shops around these parts, let me know. Itd be appreciated. I just want the block cleaned and prepped for a rebuild, the rest I can do myself. Thanks.

I don't know of any shops in the worcester area, but my shop is located in Taunton, Ma. I specialize in ford racing/performance engines and cylinder heads. I can set you up with whatever work you need done at a reasonable price. If you are interested give me a call at 508-328-9884 thanks Andrew

I used Paul Krauss at PK Machine in Fitchburg for the 418. Had him do the block prep, machining, balancing, and dyno once assembly was complete. He does topnotch work and I WILL use him again on my next project. Actually he is doing a 428cj for my stepfather right now that should be on the dyno in a few weeks.

Cool your close. Can you give a list of services?? Do you do any modulars??
Porting ect

Thanks

the only thing I don't do in house is balance. yes I do modulars and port heads. I have been porting heads for about 10 years and I have a superflow flow bench. I am hoping to be adding an engine dyno in the near future. I also do engine swaps, h/c/i swaps, rear end gears and I build custom turbo kits. Give me a shout if you need any work done thanks Andrew

What I was thinking was:
I have a block going with a VT rotating assembly and ported VT Stage 2 heads.
I'll need the block prepped and assembled
and heads installed with arp mains and head studs.

I can do that for you no problem.Let me know if your interested. If you brought it sometime in january you will receive a 15% discount on labor. We are having a special for january only. Give me a call if you need any more info or have any questions thanks Andrew

Hey powerhouse...how much would you charge to port a set of modular heads? I am thinking about having my heads ported before i put the cams i have in the car and if i get the head out of the car it might be easier to install the cams, springs, etc... If you want you can email me at [email protected] if you dont want to post it here. Thanks.

Matt
