Drift Fest is bringing Drifting and a Car Show to one location. On Sunday June 5th at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA you will be able to find all the entertainment an automotive enthusiasts will need.

The Drifting part of the event will be open to all who register. Allowing local drifters the valuable track time they need to perfect there driving skills. There will be instruction for those still learning the skill of drifting. We will even have ride alongs available for those who are interested in the sport but do not have a vehicle ready to start drifting yet. With all these options it allows people of every level to enjoy the day.

The Car Show side of the event will again be open to all who register. Displaying some of the NW's Phatest Rides. Many different trophies in numerous classes. 'Best of Show' winner not only wins a trophy but also a small feature in an up coming issue of Performance Auto & Sound Magazine. DB Drags will be brought to you by Car Toys, the better way to go.

There will be tons of other entertainment through out the day. Including some great DJ's, some of the NW's hottest girls competing in the Bikini Contest, and much more. Come and experiance the Northwest Premier Drifting Event.

This may not be a popular event with NW mustang owners but it is a majority RWD competition and I was told there are a few drifters driving mustangs so I posted up here. :flame:

anything that was built, or has to do with automotive overseas is just gay. especially drifting
Ooh, thought-provoking and insightful commentary! I wish I was fifteen again...

I haven't seen much drifting, but what I have seen looked awesome - mad car control skilz required to avoid looking very foolish. Also large tire budget necessary. Should be cool, with amateurs providing lots of comic relief on the track, I suspect... I just might be there. :nice:

And a comment like that is just the same!

I was thinking the same thing. Do I want a tricked out Japanese car? Nope. Are some of them really tacky? Yep Are some done really tastefully? You bet.
I could also say the exact same thing about Mustangs. I see plenty of Mustangs people have done things too that I would not be caught dead in. It has nothing to do with the type of car, some are done tastefully well and some aren't.
Generally, people who make comments like this fall into the non-tastefully done category.
